Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 ¼ cups corn syrup
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup liquid glucose
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup salted nuts (optional, almonds or pecans)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C)
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs with 1 tbsp melted butter and 1 tbsp sugar
  3. Press mixture into pie molds to form bases
  4. In saucepan, combine corn syrup, sugar, glucose, 1/4 cup butter, and 1/2 cup water
  5. Cook over medium heat until 240°F (115°C), stirring constantly
  6. Remove from heat, add vanilla extract
  7. Pour hot mixture into prepared graham cracker bases
  8. Sprinkle with salted nuts if using
  9. Let cool completely before storing
