  • 4 cups peeled and sliced peaches (fresh, firm but not underripe)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, chilled
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp sea salt

Method
 

  1. Peel, halve, and slice peaches into 1/2-inch pieces. Toss with granulated sugar and 1/2 tsp flour in a large bowl
  2. Cut cold butter into 1/2-inch cubes. Add brown sugar, remaining flour, cinnamon, and sea salt. Mix until crumbly and textured
  3. Spread peach mixture evenly in a 9-inch square baking dish. Sprinkle crumble topping generously over the fruit, ensuring full coverage
  4. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 35–40 minutes, or until topping is golden and fruit is bubbly
  5. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving
