Peaches and Cream Dessert

A chilled, no-bake summer treat with ripe peaches on a spiced graham cracker crust, blended with whipped cream and custard-textured filling for a light, indulgent finish.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large fresh or frozen peaches
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • (Garnish: additional garam masala or cinnamon)
  • (For vegan: substitute butter with olive oil and cream with coconut cream)

Method
 

  1. Melt butter or oil and mix with graham cracker crumbs and sugar
  2. Press crust into a 9-inch pie dish and refrigerate 15 minutes
  3. Whisk 2 tbsp cold cream with sugar, cornstarch; stir in remaining cream and vanilla
  4. Pour custard base over chilled crust and smooth surface
  5. Arrange sliced peaches on custard
  6. Chill for 20 minutes
  7. Sprinkle garam masala/or cinnamon; sit 5 minutes before serving
